MIRIAM COE was the musical director of the choir 2002-2007 and under her dynamic, enthusiastic and professional direction the choir flourished and grew in confidence. Miriam originally trained as a violinist at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama but has always had a passion for choral music, which she has pursued alongside her career in music education.  She recently retired after spending over thirty years teaching music in a wide range of schools covering the whole age range from 3 to 18. 

Miriam retired from the choir leadership in July 2007 and a new musical director will be introduced shortly.
