NEW CONCERT DRESS The sopranos and altos overwhelmingly voted for an all black concert dress with a coloured scarf. The scarves are being made at the moment and will be ready before the Folkestone visit. They come in three colours and you can purchase one in the colour of your choice - the price is £5. This is how the ladies dress for concerts from now on: black long skirt or trousers black long sleeve shirt, blouse, T-shirt or jumper, plain or with minimal decoration coloured scarf black shoes - no open toes black tights/stockings The men will also have new bowties matching the colours of the scarves. How would you feel about a black shirt? And no jacket? (Tights not compulsory for men.)
Some members have not yet paid the agreed £8 for the additional rehearsals during the Easter break. Janet has a list of people who committed themselves to this arrangement and will be asking you for the money to be paid as soon as possible.
End of year meal Wednesday 19 July in La Scala, Chadwell Heath Highroad. £5 deposit payable by 28 June.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The AGM will be held on the second half of the rehearsal on Wed 28 June 2006. Although the current committee members are happy to remain in their posts for another year, nominations are invited for all posts, including chair and vice-chair. Nominations should be given to Maria in writing by Wed 14 June.

This is how the ladies dress for concerts from now on:
